Everyday Charlie tells the story of Charlie, a 5th grader who has to change schools in the middle of the school year. One day, Charlie challenges Jared, the leader of the kickball team, to a kickoff. Things take a sudden turn when the only kickball gets lost over the schoolyard fence. Will Charlie and the Explorer’s Club be able to save recess together?
This show is a 70-minute one-act (with an optional intermission) and has 8 lead characters. All characters’ genders can be changed based off of casting and the show has flexible ensemble options. Great for young performers, summer camp productions and more!
